HP acquires Palm

Quite unexpected but pleasant news - HP deal with Palm. It's pleasant for Palm as company always balanced on the edge of abyss. Getting support from industry mammoth HP is, is guarantee of thriving. Despite of analytics excitement, I doubt webOS have chances in competition with Android. Clever move from HP of course is not to ceize support for Windows devices and release both webOS and Windows devices to market.

Adobe has released a bundle of 3 greatly awaited products today. Besides Coldfusion Builder and Flex Builder that may be purchased together,  Adobe Flex 4 SDK build 14159 has become official release. Sixty day trial versions are also available for download, and don't miss special Coldfusion Meetup event  devoted to CF Builder this Thursday.

Palm Pre got even prettier

We are looking closer to WebOS platform, as Flash player 10.1 coming to WebOS this February. Device itself is getting even better. With twice memory, new modification, Pre Plus got extra features like innovative 3G-WiFi bridge. Hope to post couple of articles about programming for Palm Pre soon.

Ziost CMS got it's home

To support Ziost's small open-source initiative, our content management system got it's personal home page on Ziost Labs and also it now has it's own development site. Dev site will be gathering documentation and track bugs on Ziost CMS to provide better picture about the project.

Coldfusion Centaur and Bolt are public betas today

I'm excited to blog that Coldfusion 9 (formely Centaur) and Coldfusion Builder (formely Bolt) IDE are paired together to go public beta today. Go grab them right now at Adobe Labs, check out Ben's early notes and watch videos from Ray "Coldfusion Jedi" Camden and Ben Forta (Coldfusion Jedi Master ?). Blogs will be buzzing about new releases, will collect interesting links and personal experience about new releases.
